Was basically confirmed a few wks ago
Now, just need to see announcement for Indonesia & Vietnam plant
I do not think this will be BYD's last plant in Europe
It will bring its supply chain over and that will require probably couple of more factories

MSRP vs actual sales px for 120-150k SUVs & 160-200k SUVs
Toyota/Honda/VW models all showing 10-15% discount
BYD does very little discounting (abt 5%) for Song+, Song Pro & Yuan+
Its 5-10% discounting on other models this month led to huge orders increase, so it doesn't need to discount more
ICE models from other Chinese automakers are also seeing minimal discounting
They are likely more focused on shifting to EVs vs unloading excessive ICE inventory
Very bleak future for Toyota & Honda

I heard this # on Wed morning so assume this is probably BYD domestic dynasty/ocean order total until 18th, basically close to 10k/day
If we add export & denza/YW/FCB orders, this will be a huge month for BYD
Dec discount definitely jolted sales & putting pressure on competitors in sub 200k market.
Li Auto continues to do well, but it's also done this thru lower pricing. Nio may need to discount more to get sales. XPeng is also discounting to keep its monthly sales above 20k
I like the pt about HW & Li Auto next yr. This will be a major battle. While, foreign hi-end brand will suffer, i would not be shocked if Li is stuck @ 50k/month for most of next yr. There is too much competition for its lineup. Aside from HW & NIO, Zeekr, Denza, FCB & XPeng all offer very competitive products
