From sohu.com/a/640286448_32…, Zhengzhou about to approve #BYD battery factory there after environmental study. It will involve 8B RMB investment and produce 40 GWh battery when completed. This Fudi plant should support BYD's new car plant in Zhengzhou which commences this year.

Die gesamte Batterieproduktionskapazität des chinesischen Unternehmens BYD lag Ende 2022 bei rund 285 GWh und soll im Jahr 2023 auf bis zu 445 GWh aufgestockt werden.

On Feb 6th, #BYD's Baoji plant has started production ithome.com/0/672/853.htm. Phase 1 has 3B RMB investment to produce EV wiring, shock absorbers & battery related components. Phase 2 w/ 2B RMB investment. Baoji is 2h from Xian, so likely to support production expansion there.

From 飘逸雪球, #BYD met with Wuxi officials recently to discuss cooperation. Xian BYD Semiconductor's head was also in the meetings. BYD Semi has bases in Ningbo, Changsha, Jinan & Chengdu? Next one looks to be Wuxi. Huge expansion for BYD Semi. What else do they have planned?
