Per media reports, to cope with competition and meet 2024 sales goals, #BYD has implemented strategic adjustments and market expansion. 🔹BYD has set a 2024 internal target of 1.7M units for the Dynasty series and 1.6M units for the Ocean series, totaling 3.3M (excluding overseas markets). In Q1 2024, the combined sales of the two series reached 586k units, accounting for 93.9% of BYD's passenger vehicle sales, and completing 17.8% of the annual 3.3M sales target. 🔹BYD plans to adjust its sales network, especially in the Dynasty series, by slowing down the expansion of the 4S store-centric primary sales channel, and instead focusing on developing the county-level market. BYD aims to increase the number of stores in lower-tier markets by opening smaller and more cost-effective outlets. 🔹BYD is also ramping up its efforts to expand overseas. The company's overseas market sales volume was 243k units in 2023, and the target for 2024 is 500k units.
