Goldman Sachs said in its research report that it has become more positive on the prospects of WEICHAI POWER (02338.HK)'s AI data center power generation business after meeting with the company's management.
The broker also highlighted WEICHAI POWER's investment narrative shift from heavy-duty trucks to AI data center power generation. Profit contribution from the company's AIDC power generation business is expected to grow from 12% in 2025 to 40% in 2030.
Goldman Sachs has kept a Buy rating on WEICHAI POWER, with a target price of HKD41.
