IMO, in certain phases, especially early or volatile ones, it can make sense to value the “security company” (like BTQ) more than the “bank” (DEFI) because security is existential. If the bank fails to protect assets, comply with regulations, or maintain trust, everything else collapses. Right now, BTQ might be seen as a more reliable, monetizable, and broadly applicable pick-and-shovel play while DEFI is still proving product-market fit, scaling AUM, and building sustainable revenues. IMO, Investors tend to overpay for perceived safety in uncertain markets, so it’s not surprising if the security layer is temporarily/for the moment more valuable. That said, in the long run, if DEFI delivers on its roadmap… CoreFi, stablecoins, institutional partnerships, and real traction, then the bank should absolutely eclipse the guard in value, because it becomes the core value creator. For now, the imbalance reflects who the market trusts today, not necessarily who will win tomorrow.

I was genuinely trying to understand your experience… you’re 100% correct, it’s not about “what you’ve built”. That said, it really does seem like the coming months, especially as we approach year-end, that as a time period it will serve as a critical inflection point for many of these initiatives. For me, there’s a clear tension between needing to be patient and the legitimate expectation for transparency and results. That’s especially true for stakeholders who’ve contributed capital, time, or reputation (those are the insiders and management - I’m just a retailer who bought heavily). When looking at the roadmap that includes everything from DeFi alpha trades and institutional partnerships to new market launches and product rollouts, it's not unreasonable to expect a clearer sense of progress or prioritization by now… but expectations are the polar opposite of serenity… That said, there’s also real potential here. Even if only a few of these initiatives like CoreFi, the RWA stablecoin, or the white-label ETP’s and KDX come to fruition, they could set off a positive feedback loop that accelerates growth, trust, and capital flows. The key though is execution, and the challenge lies in balancing ambition with clarity. Everyone understands that not everything will hit, but the more visibility there is into what's real, what's close, and what’s aspirational, the more support and conviction stakeholders can maintain. Ultimately, ongoing dialogue is the best tool we have and continued discussion helps keep execution sharp, aligns expectations, and gives room for pressure to be applied constructively and not just reactively. Being heard matters, and staying engaged is how accountability is built over time…
