🚨 Hot off the press! 🚨 U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) just announced $355M for critical minerals, a real shot in the arm for anyone working to build (or rebuild) the U.S. supply chain. The funding covers everything from recovering materials out of coal by-products and waste streams to testing “mine of the future” technologies in real operating environments. The catch: applications are due December 15 at 5PM ET. That is basically tomorrow in government-grant time and Thanksgiving is smack in the middle. If you’re even THINKING about applying, you need to get moving now. My advice: pull your grant writing team together this week, map your project to the right track, and start drafting. This is meaningful money up for grabs.
