GreenPower Motor, a Canadian manufacturer of battery-electric commercial vehicles, filed on Wednesday with the SEC to raise up to $35 million in an initial public offering. The company is currently listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol GPV and the OTCQB under the symbol GPVRF. The Vancouver, Canada-based company was founded in 2007 and booked $14 million in revenue for the 12 months ended March 31, 2020. It plans to list on the Nasdaq under the symbol GP. B. Riley FBR and Roth Capital are the joint bookrunners on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.

Harbour Air of British Columbia just took delivery of a new all-electric GreenPower EV Star Shuttle Bus using incentive funds from the B.C. SUVI Program to make the purchase. The GreenPower EV Star qualifies for a rebate under the program that is the lesser of $50,000 or one-third of the purchase price of the vehicle. Harbour Air's new GreenPower EV Star is part of the province's push to be greener by the year 2040.
