„But Leerink Partners analyst Michael Cherny says Hims & Hers is in something of a sweet spot. The company is leveraging customization and the current legal backdrop to create "an extremely logical new product offering," he said in a note to clients.
"With the aforementioned current legal backdrop, there is no reason why HIMS shouldn't evaluate these launches for every subsequent weight loss product as the market continues to evolve, even if the company has not historically focused on tirzepatide as a compound," he said.
Hims notes its compounded semaglutide adheres to federal and state laws for compounding and only uses active pharmaceutical ingredients from FDA-registered facilities.
Cherny rates Hims stock a market perform.“
