Das ist ne Pille für “zu Hause”. Humanigen aber für schon hospitalisierten . Diese Kombi könnte die Pandemie endlich beenden, falls beine zugelassen werden 👍

Oct 1 (Reuters) - An antiviral pill developed by U.S. drugmaker Merck & Co (MRK.N) could half the chances of dying or being hospitalized for those most at risk of contracting severe COVID-19, with experts hailing it as a potential breakthrough in how the virus is treated. If it gets authorization, molnupiravir, which is designed to introduce errors into the genetic code of the virus, would be the first oral antiviral medication for COVID-19. Merck and partner Ridgeback Biotherapeutics said they plan to seek U.S. emergency use authorization for the pill as soon as possible and to make regulatory applications worldwide.

Jetzt ist mir klar, warum die FDA Himanigen erstmal abgelehnt hat… Merck publizierte heute Phase 3 Ergebnisse des antiviralen Covid Medikaments… und US Regierung hat schon 1.7 Mln davon bestellt 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Alle geplante Module wurden MHRA eingereicht. Wurde betont, dass hospitalisierungszahlen in UK steigen und dass MHRA bzw UK ein Leader der Welt in Medikation insbesondere für Covid 19 ist
