Bristol Myers Squibb BMY -0.92% and Microsoft MSFT -1.24% have launched a new initiative to tackle lung cancer using artificial intelligence. The partnership will use Microsoft’s Precision Imaging Network, a system already active in over 80% of U.S. hospitals, to help doctors find “hard-to-detect lung nodules” and diagnose patients much earlier than current methods allow.
The collaboration uses advanced technology to manage the entire clinical path, from the first scan to the final treatment plan. Microsoft’s platform acts as an extra set of eyes for busy radiologists, flagging *** abnormalities that might be overlooked during routine checkups. This is key because more than half of patients who have suspicious spots found on unrelated scans currently get lost to follow-up. To fix this, the new system includes automated tracking tools that ensure these high-risk patients are scheduled for necessary biopsies or specialist visits.

The agreement will embed OpenAI’s models into tools used for IT support, customer service, and daily operations. As a result, companies using ServiceNow software will be able to deploy AI agents that complete tasks rather than just offer suggestions. Brad Lightcap, OpenAI’s chief operating officer, said, “Enterprises want OpenAI intelligence applied directly into ServiceNow workflows.” He added that customers want AI that works “like a true teammate inside ServiceNow.” The deal also includes a revenue commitment from ServiceNow to OpenAI. However, the companies did not share financial terms. Payments depend on how much customers use OpenAI models inside ServiceNow products. Another sweetener for NOW is that by partnering with OpenAI, ServiceNow gains access to advanced AI without building large models on its own. Meanwhile, NOW shares dropped 2.94% on Friday, closing at $127.31.

Ich habe gestern bei 390 € die erste Tranche gekauft. Vielleicht zu früh, aber ich denke es geht sowieso bald wieder hoch. Bei 350€ kaufe ich nach.
