Brazil ANVISA ( like FDA) has confiscated 130kg illegal API (semaglutide and Tirzepatide) being imported to Brazil.
Enough API to produce 25 million doses! And the confiscated API has a value of more than $10 million.
In 2026 ANVISA has made 11 inspections at compounding companies which resulted in 8 of them immediately got closed due to quality issues.
Even though the patent for semaglutide has exploded in Brazil there’s still no biosimilar approved.
All except one of the applications use semaglutide produced by chemical process vs $NVO organic recombinant process. This means the API differs.
And the Brazilian authorities (as well Canadian) are therefore demanding more data before potential approval.

Die normale Steuer wickelt trade Republick auch ab solange du deinen Freistellungsauftrag gestellt hast. Ausländische Steuer so wie hier die Dänische musst du dir selbst zurückholen und anrechnen lassen.
