Foundayo’s week-13 problem is no longer just total prescriptions.
Starter-dose NBRx fell -14.1%, after -14.5% and -8.2% in the prior two weeks.
Its obesity starter share has dropped from 8.9% to 6.7% in only three weeks.
Wegovy pill was also weak, but the context is different: it is softening from a much larger base, while Foundayo is losing starter momentum before reaching scale.
The bigger question now is whether Foundayo is developing a new-patient acquisition problem at the prescriber level.

$NVO $NOVO Nordea says investors have shifted their focus to Novo Nordisk’s capacity to produce semaglutide, the active ingredient in the company’s obesity and diabetes medications.
Nordea believes Novo Nordisk might consider acquiring a Chinese manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API)—or alternatively, partnering with a local Chinese firm—to establish API production in China and supply markets outside the US.
In the bank's view, the highly visible and public visit to China by Novo’s CEO (and the subsequent news coverage) appears to be an attempt to present investors with alternative options for expanding capacity ahead of the company’s Capital Markets Day.
A credible capacity plan for markets outside the US could potentially pave the way for analysts to raise their forecasts for the oral version of Wegovy in international markets, Nordea says.
If successful, Novo could gain market share faster than previously anticipated, acting as a catalyst for the share price, the bank points out.
