$NVO $NOVO Danske Bank keeps Novo Nordisk at Buy with a target price of DKK365 ahead of the Q2 report.
Says it expects Novo to change its guidance to CER sales growth of -8% to -4% from -12% to -4%.
The Wegovy pill is the key line in the report. July prescriptions have started well. The Medicare GLP-1 BRIDGE programme went live on 1 July, and Danske Bank argued in its prior report that this could become a positive share price trigger. The first weeks of July data look encouraging and are so far consistent with that view.
Says would be careful in drawing firm conclusions from a few weeks of data, but the early signals are supportive for the case and, importantly, Danske does not think Novo has included any material contribution from BRIDGE in its 2026 guidance.
