Weil foundayo bisher fast 0 Auswirkungen hat für lly. Zepbound und mounjaro wachsen jedes Quartal in 2 stelligen Prozentbereich. Dazu eine Pipeline die aussichtsreicher ist als die von novo. Die orale Variante erweitert den markt und Kannibalisiert nicht die spritzen also kein grund für lilly zu sinken.

Mit capture rate liegt WegovyPill aktuell zwischen TRx 271k/294k und Foundayo bei TRx 38,5k/40,5k. Zum Vergleich: Inkl. capture rate liegt Foundayo jetzt noch unter dem Wert von WegovyPill in Woche 3 !

We just got the latest IQVIA prescription data for $NVO and $LLY for the week ending August 14. Oral Wegovy prescriptions increased 8.0% to 176,373, up from 163,329 the previous week. Meanwhile, Lilly’s Foundayo prescriptions decreased 5.9%, from 38,928 in week 18 to 36,619 in week 19. The launch comparison remains striking. At the same point in its launch, week 19, Oral Wegovy had reached 142,959 prescriptions versus Foundayo’s 36,619. Yeah!!

Das ist deutlich besser als die heutige Symphony-Zahl von +1,8 %. Und es zeigt, dass der Rückgang der vorherigen Woche offenbar kein neuer Abwärtstrend war

Novo Nordisk Weekly GLP-1 prescription trends Weekly TRx numbers In Figures 1 and 2, we set out IQVIA total prescription (TRx) trends for GLP-1s (all doses) in the US market for the week ended 14 August. The IQVIA data shown incorporates any previously implemented projection adjustments in the category (if present). We count 'starter doses' as the lowest available dose, although note a minority of patients start on a higher dose. Wegovy Pill TRx increased this week by +8.0%, following a -5.5% decrease in the prior period. The total GLP-1 market increased slightly this week by +1.0%, with Novo Nordisk up +1.2% and Lilly up +0.9%. Novo's increase is attributed to growth in Wegovy Pill while LLY growth comes from strong Zepbound. Foundayo TRx declined this week. In its 19th week post-launch, Foundayo dipped to 36,620 for the week ended 14 August, representing a -5.9% decrease, vs the +13.8% growth posted in previous week. This marks an end to 5 weeks of double-digit growth. Wegovy Pen TRx increased +0.4% this week. We note that strong growth is maintained for Wegovy HD (7.2mg pen), which increased +6.3% to ~17.8K TRx in its 20th week on the market. Wegovy’s overall TRx share in obesity increased by +0.3pp to 39.0%, below 2Q average and down -2.5pp from the record high 9 weeks ago. This week also marked a record high for the total Wegovy franchise, which for the first time surpassed half a million TRx. UBS View: After a strong 5 weeks of growth, Foundayo TRx declined this week (-5.9%). In contrast, Wegovy Pill TRx bounced back this week (+8.0%). At 19 weeks post-launch, Foundayo remains at ~23% of the level achieved by Wegovy Pill at a comparable stage. Ozempic Pill also posted strong growth with a +16.4% increase; and when combined with Rybelsus, total oral diabetes TRx increased by +2.0%. Looking at starter doses (Figure 5 Obesity GLP-1 TRx starter doses ), a leading indicator of future demand, this week's data yet again shows a muted performance vs the original post-Medicare acceleration.
