Faizan Farooque 06/03/2026 13:24 The main focus is Palantir's £330 million NHS Federated Data Platform contract. The system is designed to help NHS trusts and care systems share and manage data more efficiently. Lawmakers recommended that the government consider using a 2027 break clause in the contract and look at alternatives from U.K.-based providers. The committee also asked for more clarity on what patient data Palantir can access and how that access was approved. The scrutiny does not stop with healthcare. Lawmakers also questioned why Palantir received a separate £240 million Ministry of Defence contract without a competitive tender. Palantir pushed back, saying its technology helps improve healthcare operations, public safety and military capability. For investors, the issue is not an immediate financial hit. The bigger concern is whether political pressure could slow Palantir's public-sector growth outside the U.S.
