Plug Power (NASDAQ:PLUG) approved a reverse stock split at its July 2025 shareholders' meeting to maintain its listing on the Nasdaq Capital Market and to increase the per-share trading price. The company had a previous reverse stock split in 2011 to address issues with its share price falling too low and risk of delisting. The most recent reverse split was authorized by shareholders and allows the board to determine the exact ratio between 1-for-5 and 1-for-200, depending on future needs.
