13M public offering is nothing new. It was already planned and disclosed earlier. Per 3/22 SEC S-1 filing, VW is suppose to provide 100M funding by end of March (given certain technical specifications are met)...QS CEO Jagdeep is suppose to speak in a battery summit on 3/29 which is 2 days before VW funding day...putting these two things together, my guess is he will surely provide news VW wants to hear that will help them secure another 100M in funding from VW... Big institutions like Fidelity, Vanguard, Norges Bank etc. bought almost 11M shares in March itself, Folks, there isn't enough float in market for big institutes to buy...and they want more...big time...specially after the news and VW funding....and as you can see...they have been accumulating quietly and slowly so that the prices does not shoot up.... Guess, how many institutions sold since QS went public?......NONE. Short availability has also gone up significantly in the month of March alone...yet another indicator of investor sentiment...12M are currently shorted...about 10%....these will squeezes soon as price starts going up.... If you put together 12M Short to cover & 11M Institutional purchase, 13M doesn't seems too off that market cannot take.... Shares offering ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Shares Offered x max price = Total amount raised 14,950,000 x $57.58 = $860,821,000 (close to a billion) QS Share Price Adjustment on (03/23) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ $64.29 (03/23 Opening) - $6.83 (SP Loss 3/23) = $57.46 (03/23 closing) ==> very close to max price of new share offering After institutions buy these 14.9M shares, and then it shoots up...in a week, which looks likely...perfect timing....14.9M x $40 = $745M (assuming price rises by $40 - this will make SP $97.58) ALL INDICATIONS...this baby could be easily floating between $85-$110 soon, won't be surprised by end of March...but this is just my guesstimate...I can be wrong...a lot can influence the market.... Übrigens....bevor sich jemand die Mühe macht mir zu erklären, dass die Marktkapitalisierung, für eine Firma, die bislang nichts produziert - geschweige denn verkauft, astronomisch ist....stimmt. Ich habe schon viele Gelegenheiten verpasst. Bitcoin, Tesla und viele mehr. Diesmal bleibe ich dabei. Es hindert mich ja niemand im Daytrade mit diversen anderen Aktien Geld zu verdienen.

Für mich ein langfristiges Investment. Fällt die Aktie, lege ich nach. Steigt sie - verkaufe ich nicht. In 6 Jahren werde ich über einen Verkauf nachdenken. Bei 700,-$ könnte ich schwach werden. Es wird auch nicht die letzte KE sein. Mir ist klar, dass man sehr viel Kapital benötigt. Verlust erleidet man jetzt nur, wenn man verkauft.

GerryKooper ich bin auch ein großer Fan des Unternehmens. Vor der angekündigten Kapitalerhöhung hätte ich allerdings nicht gekauft

Kann mich noch gut erinnern, als mir Tesla mit 28$ zu teuer war....und das ist gerade mal rund 10Jahre her ! Das passiert mir mit Quantumscape nicht noch einmal ! Wie sagte André Kostolany ? - "Börsenerfolg ist eine Kunst und keine Wissenschaft"

Gestern und Heute waren nicht so toll ! ABER - Verlust habe ich erst dann, wenn ich verkaufe. Habe mir aber gerade noch einen Nachschlag gegönnt - bei 47,80 konnte ich nicht wiederstehen.

Also ne ke so kurz nach nem Börsengang per spac ist meiner Meinung nach einfach nur noch arm...
