Quelle: Grafitehub.com Highlights from April 7 - April 11, 2025 📈 Weekly Summary This week, markets swung wildly as tariffs dominated headlines. On Wednesday, President Trump paused new tariffs for most U.S. partners - but sharply raised rates on Chinese imports to 125%. While graphite was largely left untouched, the move has intensified U.S.-China tensions and raised fresh questions about the security of critical mineral supply chains. In the graphite market this week, Blencowe Resources secured an offtake agreement with TaiDa, Metals Australia completed its drilling program at Lac Carheil, while Sarytogan revealed pilot milling results showing ore significantly softer than assumed in the PFS. Meanwhile, a wave of “Long Term Suspended Entities” notices highlighted ongoing challenges in the sector, with multiple graphite companies included, underscoring the pressure on junior developers in the current market. This week, China’s graphite market remained subdued. Flake graphite experienced notable declines, with -194 mesh down 2.0% and -195 mesh falling 3.1%. Spherical graphite also saw losses, with 99.95% 6–10μm and 15–20μm grades dropping 2.0% and 2.5%, respectively. Turning to the wider market, Chinese EV giant BYD is charging ahead with its European expansion, launching its premium Denza brand despite mounting trade tensions. The first model, the Z9GT, will debut in Q4 2025 with both battery-electric and plug-in hybrid variants, followed by the seven-seat D9 MPV. BYD’s overseas sales more than doubled year-on-year in Q1, hitting over 206,000 units, as the company outpaced Tesla in China and recorded nearly 1 million global NEV sales for the quarter. Meanwhile, the UK is adjusting course, relaxing annual EV sales targets in response to a 25% U.S. import tariff. Fines for missing emissions targets have been lowered, and manufacturers now have more flexibility in how they meet year-by-year requirements. While the 2030 ban on new petrol and diesel cars remains, industry voices warn these tweaks may not be enough to counter weakening EV demand and shifting global trade dynamics.

Wow Coralboy👏, top Update(das ganze aus deinen Urlaubsdomizil a noch dazu)... genieße die restzeit vorort📈😎
