Auch der wichtige Lagerumschlagplatz Cushing, der Lieferpunkt für den NYMEX-WTI-Futures-Kontrakt, setzte seinen Abwärtstrend vom Sommer fort und verlor weitere 2,6 Millionen Barrel, da die Lagerbestände am Lagerplatz in Oklahoma unter die Marke von 25 Millionen Barrel fielen.
