Mist, das wird wieder schön nach unten gehen. U d schlechte guidance für 2019. Sierra Wireless (NASDAQ:SWIR) drops 1% after it reports Q4 misses despite 10% Y/Y revenue growth. Downside Q1 guidance has revenue from $170M to $174M (consensus: $198.3M) with EPS from -$0.06 to -$0.02 (consensus: $0.21) and adjusted EBITDA from $2M to $4M. FY19 guides flat revenue growth compared to the 7% expected by analysts with EPS at $0.30 (consensus: $1.20) and adjusted EBITDA at $35M versus the $69.6M estimate. The company attributes the downsides to weakness in auto, enterprise networking, and mobile computing. SWIR is undertaking a cost reduction program over the next 18 to 24 months while still investing in new tech like 5G and edge networking software. Sehe die zahlen neutral. Was ich sehr gut finde, dass ab q2 2019 der "ramp up" der vw umsätze sein soll, hieß es gestern im call .... ab dann wird es interessant ...

Oh man, gutes Quartal, ordentliche Steigerungsrate des Gewinnes, aber nur mäßiger Ausblick aufgrund von Zöllen auf Importe aus China. Knattert gerade postmarket zweistellig ins Minus. Danke Herr Trump.

Ich bin eigentlich ganz zuversichtlich, wird spannend.

Nächste woche zahlen, wird sicherlich wieder turbulent...

Sierra Wireless (NASDAQ:SWIR) announced the opening of a new Global Service Center in Atlanta, Georgia to support its existing and rapidly growing IoT services customer base. The Global Service Center is located on the 9th floor of the Platinum Tower in Atlanta with more than 140 employees, monitoring millions of connected devices around the world and providing 24/7/365 global customer support. This new Service Center supports Sierra Wireless’ strategic goal of becoming a global IoT service leader and will enable the company to meet the needs of new and existing customers and support its burgeoning partner network. The opening of the Global Service Center comes less than a year after Sierra Wireless acquired Atlanta-based IoT provider Numerex, which bolstered its IoT business in the U.S. and accelerated subscription-based recurring revenue from IoT services. Sehr schade, wie es hier wieder kontinuierlich bergab geht mit dem Kurs.

Bin gespannt, wie der kurs sich morgen verhält... wenn ich von einem eps von knapp 1 eur für 2018 ausgehe (non gaap), sind wir aktuell bei einem kgv für 2018 von ca 20 und 2019 wird sicherlich noch deutlich besser werden mit den vw umsätzen. Rosige aussichten. Gebe keine stück aus der hand.
