Gomspace muss die Produktion erstmal wieder hochfahren, das dauert ein bisschen. Die Leute sind wahrscheinlich jetzt in anderen Projekten. Sieht ein bisschen so aus als steht der Start von LauscherOne kurz bevor: They say practice makes perfect, so of course our team has been busy rehearsing our first flight operations. This month, we did a mechanical fit check of our entire first flight payload stack, giving our team a chance to handle flight hardware and ensure everything is prepared for the big day. Fit checks are a laborious and delicate process, but it's a necessary part of any robust test program to maximize safety and our chances for mission success. The next time we do this build will be in the final days leading up to launch, and it should come as no surprise that our payload team (all smiles above, along with CEO Dan Hart) is especially eager for tip-off.

Stage One Hotfires Our Stage Test squad are the MVPs at Virgin Orbit this month, after they slam-dunked multiple hotfires of LauncherOne's fully integrated first stage. Boo-yah! But they didn't do it alone—teammates from nearly every corner of the company helped support this endeavor.  Stage hotfires are particularly challenging because of all the hands and hardware involved, and ours are only becoming more complex and comprehensive as we scale up our first flight assemblies. At the same time, these exercises are extremely valuable because we get to run through the entire end-to-end fueling operation like we would on a real mission day.  We're proving that our team has the chops to work together to light this candle as a fully integrated system. Just as importantly, we're demonstrating again and again that LauncherOne has the hops to make it to orbit.
