Testing Confirms All 3 Nano-Satellites Functional Sky and Space Global Ltd (ASX: SAS, “Sky and Space Global” or the “Company”) today announces that the “3 Diamonds”, its first three nano-satellites launched into space, are well-positioned in orbit and functioning according to plan. The nano-satellites were launched on the Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) Campaign 38 (C38) on Friday, 23rd June. The launch and deployment of the satellites went as planned and orbit insertion parameters were accurate and are as required. Initial contact with the 3 Diamonds was made according to planned schedule using the Alaska ground satellite communication stations. During the weekend, communication with the satellites was successful in every pass, with a total of ~50 communication passes. All system parameters are within the expected range with no anomalies, for all three satellites and all main satellite systems are functioning nominally. The execution of the testing plan continues according to schedule. Sky and Space Global is using two ground stations, one in Aalborg, Denmark and one in Alaska. These ground stations provide communication services in almost every satellite’s orbit. The In-Orbit Testing plan will continue in the next 6-8 weeks and Sky and Space Global will update the market on the progress. Sky and Space Global’s CEO, Mr. Meir Moalem said: “We are very pleased that our satellites are functioning according to plan in space, with no anomalies. This is the result of the hard work and rigorous testing and validation effort that we put into the launch preparation. I am proud of our professional team that continues to work night and day on the testing plan of our 3 Diamonds.”
