$TSLA has reduced prices on all Model Y, S, and X in the US by $2,000 per vehicle. We estimate these new cuts will cost $TSLA $900M per year, or $.20/share in EPS if limited to North America. If price cuts are global, it will cost $TSLA $2.7B/year, or $.60/share in EPS. As in 2023, we expect TSLA to get little or no volume growth as a result of these price cuts. Analysts view configurator price cuts as far more damaging to TSLA valuation than inventory price cuts since inventory cuts apply to the current quarter only, whereas configurator cuts are in perpetuity. We were under the impression that the reduction in inventory discounts would be shifted to auto loan buydowns, which we viewed as positive. These new cuts will be viewed negatively by most analysts since it will lead to another round of TSLA FY’24 EPS cuts (now $2.77) and FY’25 EPS cuts (now $3.69) which are already -49% and -42% respectively over the past year, and -27% and -31% respectively YTD.

Hab gestern schon mit cardriver besprochen dass alle gewinne vor Dienstag mitgenommen werden. Hab gestern alles alles mitgenommen und lasse erstmal Einsatz mit 2er Hebel laufen. Nach den Zahlen wird dann gross investiert.
