BABA filed a Form 6-K with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in connection with the completion of the Company's private offering of US$5 billion aggregate principal amount of 0.5% convertible senior notes due 2031, which amount include the exercise in full by the initial purchasers of their option to purchase an additional US$500 million aggregate principal amount of the notes, according to BABA's announcement. In connection with the option exercise, BABA also entered into additional capped call transactions with one or more of the option counterparties, using US$63.75 million of the net proceeds from the sale of the additional notes
