Das mit den steuerfreien Gewinnen nach 1 Jahr halten war vor der Quellensteuerreform, ich glaube das war 2009. Bis dahin mussten Gewinne aus „Spekulationen (weniger als 1 Jahr gehalten) mit dem vollen persönlichen Steuersatz versteuert werden, „langfristige Anlagen“ überhaupt nicht. Mit Einführung der Quellensteuer wurden es pauschal 25% (plus Soli und ggf. Kirchensteuer).

Totally agree! This market has been crazy. Me too, am trading with crypto but laws in Germany are a bit different. Profits are only tax free after one year of holding. What are your thoughts about AMC? On Reddit they are talking about a ridiculous high course. Doesn‘t seem realistic, but hopes never die

Well What a wacky market it’s been… and now trade war headlines are popping up again. Of course, I do have some thoughts on the market, but it can get difficult picking the overall direction.  For me personally saying rather than the public opinion i’ve found success with trading off and on crypto… and that helped me generate more in trading profits during the first few weeks of 2021 till date
