Wenn wirklich was dran ist das wir übern Tisch gezogen worden und die 15% verlieren ,muss nigel den catl Deal abändern oder halt bei der drc aufs Gas treten um ihre 15% zu erhalten , sicher bitter aber kein untergegangen , allerdings läuft uns die Zeit davon und die Geduld und das sehe ich immer mehr als Problem

If AVZ loses its legal battle to assert ownership of a 15 per cent stake, its holding in the Manono project could fall to 36 per cent, versus 39 per cent associated with the Chinese miners, according to Boatman Capital. The remaining 25 per cent would be controlled by the DRC government and associated minority interests. AVZ retains law firm DLA Piper and in a May 4 announcement, it rejected claims that its legal ownership of a 15 per cent interest in Manono had been annulled. The company said it considered the claims and believed them to be “spurious in nature, without merit, contain fundamental and material errors, and have no substance or foundation in fact or law”. AVZ originally acquired a 60 per cent legal ownership interest in Manono in 2017. Boatman Research has also claimed in previous research that AVZ might have benefited from corruption associated with shadowy deal makers and the regime of former Congolese leader Joseph Kabila in the 2017 award of the licence. New documents Mr Robertson said a DRC High Court ruling and documents suggested that AVZ’s 2021 deal to lift its ownership stake in the Manono project by 15 per cent – from 60 per cent to 75 per cent – for $20 million had been legally annulled. Boatman Capital also said it had obtained a legal contract copy that corroborated Zijin Mining’s claims that it signed and sealed a transaction to buy 15 per cent of the Manono project for $33.4 million from Cominiere, an entity associated with the Congolese government. Boatman Capital questioned why AVZ failed to disclose any details of the dispute to shareholders until May 4, 2022. AVZ put its shares into a trading halt on May 9. It had been approached for comment but had not responded, and on Friday morning it moved to extend its share suspension until June 1. In February, AVZ confirmed that it had signed a deal to sell a 24 per cent stake in the Manono project to Chinese miner Suzhou CATH Energy Technologies for $240 million, which would leave the former with a 51 per cent majority stake on completion. On May 10, AVZ gave a presentation to investors, detailing how it could end up with a 66 per cent ownership interest in Manono if it increased its stake by 15 per cent from 51 per cent under its legal rights to purchase a 15 per cent stake from Cominiere. The CATH Energy Technologies deal was flagged as part of a broader agreement announced on May 4 under which the DRC government awarded the mining licence for the Manono project to the legal entity majority-owned by AVZ.
