Hier ein Auszug aus der Analystenkonferenz. Man sieht was für eine Perle Barclays ist strong full year performance for the group. In 2016, we set out to build a bank capable of delivering double-digit returns through the cycle. Last year in 2021, we delivered a group return of tangible -- return on tangible equity of 13.4%. This included double-digit returns in all three of our major lines of business, Barclays U.K., the consumer cards and payments business and the Corporate and Investment Bank. The group also delivered a record profit before tax in 2021 of £8.4 billion. This profit included record levels of profitability in the CIB in our Corporate and Investment Bank, strong cost discipline, a net credit impairment release of around £650 million. And we acknowledge that the economic outlook turn remains uncertain, but this is reflected in the robust coverage ratios which we retain. We also remain well capitalized with a CET ratio of 15.1% at year-end and this performance has enabled us to announce the return of over £2.5 billion of excess capital to shareholders in respect of 2021. This is the equivalent of a total payout of £0.15 per share.

Nein erst im März, zahlbar am 05.April. 2 Pence wurden schon gezahlt, jetzt kommen 4 Pence dazu.

Barclays Q4 6,6 Pence Gewinn. Es gibt 4 Pence Dividende und 1 Mrd £ ARP. Sehr gutes Ergebnis.

Gerade alle Banken. Barclays hat mit Lehmann eine ganz starke Equities Abteilungen da belasten turbulente Aktienmärkte enorm und verursachen stark Schwankungen. Ist bei Societe Generale das Gleiche.

Ich finde, dass Barclays echt starke Schwankungen drin hat 😅

American Express hat gute Zahlen vorgelegt - ob das auch auf Barclays Auswirkungen hat, weiß ich allerdings nicht

Ich kassiere lieber regelmäßig Dividende. Rechne und erhoffe 2x 6 Pence.
