BYD continued to gain momentum in Mexico in June 2026, with monthly sales reaching 6,511 units, lifting its market share to 4.2% and delivering 3.35% year-on-year growth.
The result is notable given Mexico’s increasingly challenging trade environment, including tariffs of up to 50% on vehicles imported from China, which have raised barriers for Chinese automakers entering the market.
