Good interview w/ Denza chief
Confirms new BEV/PHEV platform next yr
As well as AV tech unveil event next month
Will launch flagship SUV (Likely N9, similar in size to L9) next yr w/ 10m turn radius & capable of 90km/h+ moose test
2 other sedans (target Panamera & Maybach)
8MP camera can see up to 530m
Lidar can scan out to 200m, 120 deg horizontal scanning & 25 deg vertical scanning
2 Lidars instead of 1 to cover blind spot
AEB reaching 100km/h soon
My sense is that Denza was too conservative this year & made mistake in N7/N8 launch.
N7 should've waited until ADAS was ready
N8 was not needed, too similar to Tang
Next yr's product will actually cover product gaps of BYD family, makes more sense
Whether they are competitive or not depends on smart car functionality & more aggressive promotion of BYD tech (BYD can learn a little bit from HW here)

Du hast schon Recht aber China wird kein Militär einsetzen müssen und es stimmt das alle voneinander abhängig sind und deshalb wird es auch nur Verlierer geben. Wobei bricks mehr Potenzial hat als die NATO. Mmn

90 % der seltenen Erden die für die Chipproduktion kommen, stammen aus China, nicht zu sprechen das tsmc ein Monopol für die weltweite Chipproduktion hat.

Die USA hat Taiwan zugesichert sie in diesem Fall durch ihr Militär zu verteidigen.
China würde sich das nicht gefallen lassen.
