Berichten zufolge wird BYD nach Erreichen seines Jahresumsatzziels für 2023 voraussichtlich rund 2 Milliarden RMB in „roten Umschlägen“ an Händler verteilen. BYD hat auf diese Berichte nicht reagiert.
Ein namentlich nicht genannter BYD-Händler in Peking gab jedoch bekannt, dass BYD Prämienbenachrichtigungen herausgegeben, diese aber noch nicht offiziell verteilt hat.
