I used various PCTC rate combined w/ estimated fuel cost Calculated cost/car bw $400 to $1200 For PCTC it ordered, I calculated cost/car around $430 Using $90m/ship, 3% interest rate, 10 year period + $12m/year operational cost ofc, shipping cost will be around $250/car after 1st yrs We can conclude: Large PCTC is cheapest form of transportation Better than rail freight & RoRo ships due to # of cars per shipment Owning PCTC better than leasing due to wild swings in charter rate Total transportation cost likely < $1000/car w/ PCTC during normal times Significantly reduces BYD's overhead in exports to EU -> allows more price cuts

BYD Yangwang U7 electric sedan for China - on the road. Yangwang is a high-end NEV brand under BYD. The Yangwang U7 is a new full-size sedan. The new photos show a silver example on the road, and it sure has a lot of presence. The U7 is huge: 5265/1998/1517, with a 3160 wheelbase and a drag coefficient of 0.195 Cd. It is a traditional sedan, rather than a sedan-coupe. The front light design is similar to the Yangwang U9 supercar. It has a black roof and chrome around the windows. There is a carbon front lip and diffuser, and a pop-out rear wing. It has a lidar above the windshield. The Yangwang is an EV, using 4 electric motors for an output of about 1000 hp. Note the 'e4' badges on the front fender, just like on the Yangwang U9. Future BYD model will come w/ World's 1st hand scanning key We already provided finger print & eye scan for unlocking iPhones, so I don't think ppl will be too concerned w/ getting their hand scanned as security for driving away their cars
