Die deutschen Marken verzeichneten im Juni mit Ausnahme von BMW ein Wachstum. Marktführer Volkswagen kam auf ein Plus von 22,4 Prozent auf 53.210 Autos. Die VW-Premiumtochter Audi erzielte einen kräftigen Anstieg um 42,5 Prozent auf 24.923 Fahrzeuge. Mercedes-Benz verkaufte 25.207 Einheiten, ein Plus von 29,9 Prozent. Bei BMW sank der Absatz um 0,6 Prozent auf 19.595. Es wurden 52.988 Elektroautos im Juni zugelassen, das waren 64,4 Prozent mehr als im Vorjahr. Ihr Anteil betrug damit 18,9 Prozent. Der Elektroautobauer Tesla steuerte 8.044 Fahrzeuge bei, das war ein Plus von 176,6 Prozent. Bei Verbrennern mit Benzinmotor kletterten die Neuzulassungen um knapp 20 Prozent, bei Dieseln lag der Anstieg bei 10,3 Prozent.
