Parroting 长跑长赢analysis for Q1 Margins look worse bc #BYD changed depreciation&amortization to 3 yrs Revenue is 2nd best ever even w/ px war Profit only 3rd best due to px war+accounting change Operating margin also 3rd best due to px war (17.86% vs 19 in Q4) Good News: R&D up big time. 6.2B RMB on paper, could be as high as 8B RMB if including capitalized part He estimates total R&D could be as high as 35B this yr, which would be great, but I'm unsure they get there. Still would be much less than HW's $16B in 2022 Also due to px war in 200-300K segment, the avg px per car & profit per car probably dropped this quarter (I need to dig in further here), since BYD greater portion of its sales have been in sub 150K segment So while px war has been tough on everyone, BYD still doing great
