Bloomberg, citing sources, reported that Gellec New Energy, a battery company backed by BYD COMPANY , is shelving its previous plan to list on the mainland. The company is now instead considering a Hong Kong listing as early as next year, and is expected to raise at least several hundred million USD, with the company valued at about US$2 billion. Gellec New Energy, founded in 2010 in Hebei province, specialises in the research and development, production and sales of wet diaphragms and coated diaphragms for lithium batteries. The company withdrew its RMB1.3 billion (US$178 million) A-share listing application in September, and the IPO prospectus shows that BYD owns more than 2% of the company's shares.

Yangwang officially announced that they will unveil a supercar platform(e4 concept car) at the Guangzhou Auto Show on the 17th.
