Carnival hat für 2026 mit 670 USD pro Tonne gerechnet. Das entspricht 91,4 USD pro Barrel. Wir sind momentan bei 84 USD. 2 Monate mit günstigerem Öl sind schon vorüber... Der Anstieg des Öls ist unschön, aber rechtfertigt nicht den Rückgang.
Könnte eher in der zukünftigen Zurückhaltung beim buchen liegen, wobei auch hier für 2026 schon sehr viel ausgebucht ist. Ich verstehe es nicht. 😅

Übrigens kann Carnival bei einem Ölpreis von über 70 USD einen Treibstoffzuschlag von bis zu 9 Dollar pro Tag pro Person verlangen.

Die Frage ist, wie hoch steigt das Öl noch und vorallem wie lange bleibt es überhaupt so hoch.
Wird Carnival die Jahresprognose ändern? Am 20.03 wissen wir es.

10% Erhöhung Ölpreis sollen 88 Mio Dollar auf JAHRESbasis ausmachen. Wären momentan circa 450 Millionen weniger Gewinn.

Zusätzlich wurden heute die eher enttäuschenden Zahlen von NCL für das erste Quartal 2026 veröffentlicht. Daher bin ich vorerst gelassen, was die Verluste betrifft.
Bewegt sich alles soweit im Rahmen. 😉
