Since the Iran war began, the Strait of Hormuz has been the focal point, as it accounts for ~20 million barrels of daily oil supply. On Thursday, Iran's Fars News Agency said Houthis in Yemen and other “resistance groups” may soon join the war against the US and Israel, per WSJ. Not too long ago, Yemen's Houthis, who are backed by Iran, were striking ships in the Red Sea, resulting in a major drop in shipping activity. Currently, ~12% of global seaborne oil passes through Bab al-Mandab, making it the world’s 4th-largest shipping chokepoint. If this passage is closed, another ~6 million barrels of daily oil supply would be halted. Total offline capacity between the two Straits would near 25 million barrels per day, or ~25% of global supply. We have another pivotal week ahead.

Moin 🙂 Ich glaube man muss das Mal anders sehen was dort unten passiert bzw noch passieren soll/kann oder eben auch nicht passiert: Netanjahu hat ganz klar gesagt das nur die Vorbedingungen geschaffen werden, um einen Sturz des Regimes von innen heraus, zu schaffen. Dieser Sturz ist aber überhaupt nur dann möglich wenn die Luftkampagne komplett abgeschlossen wurde und es im inneren zu zersetzungen des Staatsapparates kommt. Man bombt also erst die Luftverteidigung und Raketen weg, geht dann über zu Produktionsanlagen bzw Infrastruktur für diesen Sektor und dann weiter zu den kleineren Standorten in den Städten und Ortschaften um dort die Strukturen zur Unterdrückung zu zerstören. Derzeit werden auch Banken bzw deren Systeme getroffen um Geldflüsse zu verhindern. So soll die psychologische Wirkung auf das normale Militär, nicht die Revolutionsgarden, erhöht werden. Kein Nachschub, keine Verpflegung, kein Sold. Erst wenn dieser Zersetzungsprozess abgeschlossen ist kann das Regime gestürzt werden. Und das auch nur mit Hilfe der einfachen Armee und der Polizei wenn diese überlaufen. Ziel der USA und Israels ist es nicht, dort Bodentruppen einzusetzen, sie wollen die Bedingungen schaffen, das das einfache Volk den Job zu Ende bringt. Die Bürger warten ab bis diese Bedingungen erfüllt sind. Und auch nur so kommen sie an das Spaltmaterial heran. Ob das allerdings alles erfolgreich sein wird, das sagen sowohl Netanjahu als auch Trump, ist ungewiss. Alles andere was hier, gerade vom Trump, veröffentlicht wird ist doch nur taktisches Gelaber. Das was die Welt hören will, oder auch nicht hören will, was die Kritiker hören wollen, die Wähler.
