Meine Zusammenfassung: Vornik widerspricht der EOS-Aussage deutlich und stellt klar. Das aktuelle Konsortium ist irrelevant. Die ursprüngliche Zusammensetzung des Leidos-Konsortiums (mit EOS) hat keine langfristige Bedeutung. Nur Leidos als Regierungsberater zählt wirklich. Der offene Wettbewerb kommt noch. Es wird bald ein Lieferanten Panel ernannt, aus dem die Regierung über die nächste Dekade schöpfen wird. DroneShield hat die Chance, auf dieses Panel zu kommen. DroneShield kann problemlos mit EOS-Systemen integriert werden, wenn die Regierung das möchte. Vornik betont den Vorteil von DroneShield – sie liefern nicht nur Einzelkomponenten wie EOS, sondern komplette integrierte Systeme mit Drittanbieter-Technologie. Die Kernbotschaft ist, die $1,3 Milliarden LAND 156 sind noch nicht endgültig vergeben. DroneShield ist noch im Rennen und positioniert sich als Systemintegrator mit Mehrwert gegenüber reinen Hardware-Herstellern wie EOS.

Ich hörte mir auch das Event von EOS von 09:00-09:30 Uhr an und stellte folgende Frage: "Für LAND 156: Wie funktioniert die technische Integration zwischen EOS Slinger (Hard-Kill) und DroneShields RF-Erkennungssystemen? Gibt es eine direkte Kommunikation zwischen den Systemen, oder läuft alles über Leidos/Acacias Command & Control?" Die Antwort war eindeutig: DroneShield ist nicht Teil des LAND 156 Konsortiums. DroneShield hatte sich mit einem eigenen Angebot beworben, wurde jedoch vom australischen Verteidigungsministerium nicht ausgewählt. Die im Rahmen von LAND 156 eingesetzte Lösung basiert auf EOS Hard-Kill-Systemen plus einer Soft-Kill-Option, die von einem Konkurrenten von DroneShield stammt. Das siegreiche Konsortium besteht ausschließlich aus EOS und Leidos (USA). Andreas von EOS merkte diplomatisch an, dass man mit DroneShield bei "anderen Projekten" erfolgreich zusammenarbeite, bestätigte jedoch, dass DroneShield bei diesem 1,3 Milliarden USD Großauftrag nicht beteiligt ist.
