Haushalt 2026: Wie der Senat die Staatsausgaben gekürzt hat.
Der Senat hat die Prüfung des Ausgabenteils des Haushaltsentwurfs 2026 abgeschlossen und zusätzliche Kürzungen von rund 3 Milliarden Euro im Staatshaushalt und bei öffentlichen Einrichtungen beschlossen. Die endgültige Abstimmung über den gesamten Gesetzentwurf ist für Montag angesetzt.

The budget marathon is far from over: The state budget (Projet de Loi de Finances, PLF) is still under discussion in the Senate, with a vote expected before 15 December. A joint committee between the Senate and the Assembly will then attempt to reconcile positions. The text will return to the National Assembly for a “final reading”, with negotiations almost starting from scratch.
