T1 Energy beginnt mit dem Bau seiner G2_Austin Solarzellenanlage in Texas, die mit einer Investition von 400 bis 425 Millionen Dollar bis Ende 2026 eine TOPCon-Zellkapazität von 2,1 GW und bis zu 1.800 Arbeitsplätze schaffen soll. Die Zellen versorgen die bestehende 5-GW-Modullinie G1_Dallas und vervollständigen damit eine US-amerikanische Lieferkette von Polysilizium bis zum fertigen Modul.
