Also so wie ich das mitbekomme besitzt GME 6,55% der Aktien oder (Optionen )von Ebay und das alles in Mai 2026 gekauft. Wenn ich AI frage egal welche ,kommt das man bei Ebay erst bei 20% eine außerordentliche Aktionärsversammlung einberufen darf. Richtig soweit?

Badrobot spricht hier einen ganz wichtigen Punkt an: eBay ist vor allem wegen der schlechten Wirtschaftslage/Kaufkraftverluste ein Zukunftsmarkt, da mehr und mehr Käufer secondhand einkaufen. Zumal speziell in den USA, wo Neuwaren mittlerweile auch noch hohen Zöllen unterliegen. Badrobot belegt das im Thread mit Zahlen und revenue, aber auch im Vergleich zu lokalen marketplaces, die hohen Anteil eBay verloren haben. eBay ist der einzige marketplace mit einer globalen Infrastruktur. Das wirft ein ganz neues Licht auf Ryan Cohen's Intentionen und erklärt auch seine Aussage, dass er mit eBay nicht in Konkurrenz zu Amazon geht.

Höchst interessant ‼️ Salvatore schreibt in diesem Artikel über einen eBay shareholder activist, der bei eBay für das kommende eBay Annual Meeting am 17.06. ein Stockholder Proposal eingereicht hat, mit dem der Threashhold (mit dem ein Shareholder ein außerordentliches Shareholder Meeting halten darf) von aktuell 20% auf 10% stake gesenkt werden soll. Üblich sind bei US companies 10% - aber eBay gibt seinen Shareholders in den proxy Unterlagen die Empfehlung dieses Stockholder Proposal abzulehnen ...
