Gladstone Investment (GAIN) stock gained 3.3% in Tuesday after-hours trading after net asset value grew 10% in its fiscal Q3, even as its adjusted net investment income fell short of the Wall Street consensus.
Fiscal Q3 adjusted net investment income of $0.21 per share, trailing the average analyst estimate of $0.23, dropped from $0.24 in Q2.
Total investment income of $25.1M for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2025, missing the $25.7M consensus, declined from $25.3M in the prior quarter.
Net asset value of $14.95 per share at Dec. 31, 2025, grew from $13.53 at Sept. 30.
