Ist schon alles skurril hier: bei einer MarketCap um die 600 Mio., einem KUV von unter 0,1, einem positiven CashFlow in 2025 und einer zarten Hoffnung auf ein positives Gesamtergebnis unter dem Strich in 2026 ist es schon erstaunlich, dass die Wetten gegen den Kurs weiterhin so stabil hoch sind. Für mich tatsächlich nur mit dem massiven Vertrauensverlust zu begründen, der leider vom Management in den letzten Jahren gehegt und gepflegt wurde...
Wenn man bedenkt, dass wir über 95% vom ATH verloren haben… Ich bleibe dabei: ein positiver Funke reicht für eine spürbare Erholung (siehe letztes Jahr).

Hf hatte ja eine Kooperation mit chatgpt angekündigt. Da fragt man sich wie viel da wohl investiert wird und ob das so eine gute Investition ist. Wenn da erstmal Gesetze bzw regularien diese Art von Werbung einschränken hat man wieder eine fehlinvestition … mal schauen 😎

Ja, eine positive Nachricht würde genügen - leider kam schon so lange keine mehr. Irgend etwas muss bei Factor75 in den USA zwischen Mitte November und Mitte Februar passiert sein, das den massiven Einbruch der Zahlen sowie die in sich zusammengefallenen Trustpilot-Bewertungen dieses Zeitraums begründet hat. Ich kaufe dem Management die Geschichte mit der 25-Mio. - Auswirkung des Wintersturms einfach nicht ab. Sie klingt mir zu sehr nach "Cover-up story". Daher kommt auch mein Glaubwürdigkeitsproblem der letzten Wochen.

Ich hoffe auch, dass ich mich irre. Für mich ist das Maß bzgl. irgendwelcher Begründungen für doch schlechter als prognostizierte Geschäftsentwicklungen in jedem Fall voll.

Mögen ist die appnutzung nur anfänglich auch für nichtkunden gratis, bis sie alle ihre Rezepte gespeichert haben und nicht exportieren können… dann nur gegen bares 😁

Hört sich wild an. Kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass man hier wirklich auf 1000 Rezepte in der Woche kommt. Die Vielfalt soll aber offensichtlich weiter erhöht werden.
Gleichzeitig implementiert man immer neue Funktionen in die App, wie zum Beispiel die automatische Generierung und Speicherung von Rezeptkarten von allen Gerichten, die ein Nutzer in irgendwelchen Videos bei TikTok usw sieht und nachkochen möchte. Aus dem Video erstellt die App dann direkt eine Rezeptkarte. Auch eine Funktion zur automatischen Rezepterstellung bei (zufällig) vorhandenen Zutaten im Haushalt wird bald eingebaut. So etwas kann die AI heute ja schon problemlos.
Ob das die Menschen in die App von Hellofresh lockt? Die Funktionen soll man auch nutzen können, wenn man kein Kunde bei Hellofresh ist. Ich bin da skeptisch.

At the same time I think your outlook for the “Others” category is a bit too optimistic. As profitability went up, growth has been slowing down in 2025. In the past Hellofresh expected new ventures to be EBITDA breakeven after 5 years. Good Chop is entering year 6 and should therefore be starting to contribute a positive EBITDA to that category. The Pets Table is only entering year 4 in the middle of 2026. Overall, “Others” will most likely still be negative on an EBITDA basis and the revenue growth will slow down further.
It's still a very good business, as the incremental margin on the additional revenue looks nice already.

Agreed. Growth (Others where The Pets table is included) 43% YoY and margin improved significantly despite still negative. Maybe break even 2026 with a revenue of €200m. Compare this with Swedish Swedencare (ticker SECARE) where revenue is €220m with an mcap of €350m. That is more than half HFG mcap. This is can only mean that Others with The Pets table is valued zero or even negative by the market.
Thanks for mentioning Swedencare, haven't heard about them before so I will take a closer look at them. It's interesting, because The Pets Table just brought their first dental product to the market. Valuation for Swedencare still seems low.
Ziwi, another direct competitor in the air-dried category was sold in 2021 to a Chinese PE player for NZD1,5 billion. If I remember it correctly that was for roughly 10x revenue! Ziwi was running on a 25% ebit margin!
As I already mentioned, Ollie (founded in 2016) recently was bought for $600m. The Pets Table is a “hybrid” between companies like Ziwi and Ollie, offering both air dried and frozen dog food. Even a much more mature company like Freshpet (revenue of around 1 billion $) is valued at a multiple of its revenue. Costco is launching a competitve product in the fresh dog food space and the market STILL values Freshpet at 3x revenue.
In my opinion, high growth dog food companies are valued between 5 to 10 times revenues. It's such a good business. Very high retention rates and high margins. Almost as good as the Saas businesses.

They also have debts to suppliers etc where parent company have issued a so called comfort letter. It is costly to exit UK so they try to save it instead. Regarding Italy and Spain, they generated a negative profit around €9m each. This will be visible as +€18m in the future. UK loss+debt is much larger.
Revenue in the UK should still be around €500m for Hellofresh. Highly unlikely they are even thinking about exiting that market. Competitive pressure has been easing the last couple of years as everyone is going for profitability. In 2024 Gousto had a revenue of £312m and a net loss of £18,5m. At the same time they were reporting a positive FCF of £3m. Once the new fulfillment center is up and running, I expect Hellofresh to produce positive FCF for years to come in the UK.
