Laut Edgewater Research könnten Leistungsprobleme beim MPWR-Modul (Spannungsregelung/Power-Management-IC) dazu führen, dass Nvidia den Herstellungsplan für den neuen Grafikprozessor Blackwell anpassen muss. Dies könnte dazu führen, dass Monolithic Power Systems (MPWR) weniger oder gar keine Komponenten für die Blackwell-Chips liefern wird1. Stattdessen sollen Renesas Electronics und Infineon Technologies diese Aufgaben übernehmen.

Edgewater analysts said that Monolithic's allocation in Blackwell might be drastically limited or eliminated by performance problems with its voltage regulator modules and power management integrated circuits. Es gab Gerüchte bzgl Zusammenarbeit. Ist ja nicht so dass Nvidia nen Chip rausbringt und den klebt man in einen Server. Ringsherum sind Speicherchips, nicht nur bei Grafikkarten wenn ne Karte 8gb oder 12gb schnellen Vram hat
