After Meta boosted its capital-spending forecast an afternoon earlier, Microsoft offered its own view of future spending. The company expects its capital spending to "increase materially on a sequential basis" in the fiscal fourth quarter, "driven by cloud and AI infrastructure investments," according to Chief Financial Officer Amy Hood. The company intends to bring more capacity online as its demand currently outstrips capacity a bit. Management says it sees a big opportunity in AI and wants to make sure its expenditures position it to be a leader in the trend. It will follow its usual philosophy on spending. "Watch the signal, invest to be a leader in the technical foundation and then execute consistently to add value to customers," as Hood summed it up.

Microsoft expects revenue growth for Azure to be 30% to 31% in constant currency during the current quarter. That compares with 31% in the latest period. "Growth will be driven by our Azure consumption business and continued contribution from AI," Chief Financial Officer Amy Hood said on the earnings call. Microsoft also anticipates some impact from the increased AI capacity. "We continue to bring capacity online as we scale our AI investments with growing demand," she noted. "Currently, near-term AI demand is a bit higher than our available capacity."

Wichtiger sind doch die Earnings jetzt oder? Das und das Release werden denke ich entscheiden welche Kurse wir morgen sehen werden. Denke nicht, dass es allzu ausschlaggebend ist, ob sie jetzt wo nicht so viele handeln können, leicht fällt/ steigt

Toll. Kurzfristig 12%, die wieder verpuffen sobald die Leute erkennen, dass alles wieder nur gelaber war. Nein Danke, dann lieber langsameres Wachstum aber dafür sicher und langfristig.
