Foxconn to Build Major AI Server Factory Near Guadalajara Mar. 4, 2025 at 1:40 a.m. ET Foxconn is set to establish a major AI server manufacturing facility near Guadalajara, Mexico, according to the Governor of Jalisco, Pablo Lemus Navarro. This ambitious project, aimed at becoming the world's largest AI server assembly plant, involves an investment of approximately $900 million. The facility will utilize Nvidia's (NVDA, Financial) cutting-edge GB200 AI chips in its production processes. Cindy Blanco, the Economic Development Minister of Jalisco, announced that Foxconn is currently in the process of applying for the necessary permits to construct the new factory. The state government plans to offer financial incentives to support this significant development. Governor Lemus emphasized that regardless of any potential changes in U.S. tariffs, various factories are committed to maintaining operations in Mexico. Investment in Jalisco continues to grow, with investments in the state's industrial parks expected to reach $300 million this year. www.gurufocus.com/news/2725939/foxcon...
