The earnings miss was minor and temporary, with management citing resolved capital constraints and delayed revenue recognition from a major customer. SMCI's FY2026 sales guidance of $33 billion, driven by AI tailwinds and DCBBS innovation, signals robust growth and market expansion. Valuation remains extremely attractive with a forward P/S of 1 and P/E of 14. The share price was circa $40 then, significantly lower even if compared to yesterday's after-earnings panic that led it to around $48. I think that the dual earnings miss that triggered the after-market share price plunge provides investors with a great opportunity to initiate their SMCI positions or to double them down. SMCI's gross undervaluation definitely means that a Strong Buy rating should be maintained. Reasons to ignore the dual earnings miss SMCI closed at above $57 yesterday, but the dual earnings miss triggered a large sell-off which undermined the share price to around $48.
