Sustainable Development Technology Canada provides $2.6 million grant to support the development of the new Vicinity Lightning EV bus   VANCOUVER, BC – February 7, 2022 - Vicinity Motor Corp. (NASDAQ:VEV) (TSXV:VMC) (FRA:6LGA) ("Vicinity" or the "Company"), a North American supplier of commercial electric vehicles, today announced the receipt of an initial C$2,570,000 million grant from Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC), a foundation created by the Canadian government, for the development of zero-emission transit busses.   SDTC helps Canadian entrepreneurs accelerate the development and deployment of globally competitive clean technology solutions. The non-repayable grant from SDTC will help Vicinity to introduce its new all-electric, true low-floor wheelchair-accessible (fully ADA-compliant), mid-sized, medium-duty bus. Ich mach den Vorschlag alle Diesel Busse und alle LKW die älter als 8 Jahre sind die ABE zu erlöschen und durch EV Busse und EV LKW zu ersetzen. Wie bei der VW Diesel Gate Affäre . Bis Ende 2022 alle "Stinker " stilllegen und auf EV umstellen. 👍 Das Statement von Leah Lawrence wäre interessant 👍

Das sind wieder mal super News. Ist bislang nur bei den 3 Unternehmen die Finanzierung bekannt? Wären bislang schon 19,5 Mio $ für 3 Unternehmen. Bleiben noch um 32 Mio $ für 13 weitere Unternehmen
