Fourth quarter 2023 net income includes a pre-tax valuation loss of $0.1 billion included in non-operating income (expense) from the common stock investment in Rivian Automotive, Inc., compared to a pre-tax valuation loss of $2.3 billion from the investment in fourth quarter 2022. Revenue of $170B (+13.9% Y/Y) beats by $3.74B. North America segment sales increased 13% year-over-year to $105.5 billion. International segment sales increased 17% year-over-year to $40.2 billion, or increased 13% excluding changes in foreign exchange rates. AWS segment sales increased 13% year-over-year to $24.2 billion. First Quarter 2024 Guidance Net sales are expected to be between $138.0 billion and $143.5 billion vs $142.17B consensus, or to grow between 8% and 13% compared with first quarter 2023. This guidance anticipates a favorable impact of approximately 40 basis points from foreign exchange rates. Operating income is expected to be between $8.0 billion and $12.0 billion, compared with $4.8 billion in first quarter 2023.
