Despite AMC making some progress financially and achieving a positive free cash flow in the third quarter, the expectation for the fourth quarter of 2023 and the year 2024 is less optimistic. Handler projects a reversal to a net user of cash stemming from lower box office expectations. Although liquidity is not an immediate concern, the ongoing capital raises necessary to support the company are likely to result in further dilution of the stock, thus justifying the Sell rating and a price target of $5 based on 7.5 times the estimated 2025 adjusted EBITDA.
