The Tetra MOU is arguably the single biggest strategic achievement from ASN to-date. The blueprint for how the Anson, Tetra and future Li offtake partner(s) JV has already been written and proven in-market by the JV between Tetra, Standard Lithium (STL) and Lanxess in their Arkansas Smackover Formation project. Lanxess is a AUD$9B multinational that owns a long running bromine-from-brine project in the Arkansas Smackover Formation. They have presence in every continent. Tetra is the operations manager of the Lanxess plants in Arkansas, and they are the tenements holder of Lanxess' source brine. STL has more recently begun a JV with Lanxess to take their tail flow brine and reprocess for lithium extraction. This is STLs flagship project. Lanxess focused on the bromine, STL focused on the lithium. It appears that Tetra is positioning itself to create an "Arkansas Smackover clone" with a JV with ASN in the Paradox Basin. In the ASN-Tetra case, both the bromine and lithium revenue streams will be contained within that JV (unlike above where they are separated between Lanxess and STL). I see ASN as a comparable level future player to Standard Lithium. Following the JV with Lanxess, SDL had a market cap of around $150M at a time of low macro sentiment in the lithium space through 2019. From 2Q 2020 to present, SDLs MC has gone from $100M to $1.5B. Once ASN prove up sufficient JORC resource (reentry well permits pending), finalise revised PEA/PFSs, confirm Novonix battery testing and secure project development funding (likely at least partly through Tetra), then I expect they will be on a similar ballpark MC as SDL by 2023 of $1.5B+. If we look at local market peers and compare current developmental stages and near term project deliverables, I expect a MC for ASN in the range of $300-500M by xmas this year.

Sobald das Re-Rating durch die neuen Bohrungen veröffentlicht wird sollte der NPV deutlich anziehen. Aufgrund der aktuellen Verhandlungen mit Tetra dürfte die MK bis zum Jahresende auf ca. 30% des NPV ansteigen (unabhängig vom Hype durch das Bull Projekt) und nachdem der Vertrag bindend wurde sollte sich bei ca 60% des NPV ein neuer Boden bilden. Das sind zumindest meine Erfahrungswerte der letzten Jahre im Rohstoffbereich

Wer in der jetzigen Phase Gewinne mitnimmt hat sich mit ASN nicht wirklich auseinander gesetzt 😉
